Knife Update

I figured I would give a little update on my knife making.

As I mentioned before I have profiled both sides of the blade leaving a small edge. The edge prevents warping during the heat treatment process. It will be sharpened after wards.

 

Here's a side view of the knife so far.

As I also mentioned I'm shaping the handle. This is done by temporarily pinning the wood scales to the blade and a lot of sand paper. After that the scales are pinned together to ensure that both sides are even.

  

Next is more sanding on the blade to remove the scratches and more shaping the handle.
